It's times like this were I really think people have too many rights. I mean, just imagine if the government ever tried anything to control the population. Can you imagine the religious ("Pope said I can't wear a jimmy cap"), constitutional, "gubmint tryin' to keep me from having 12 babies when I'm already unemployed and on Welfare!" Shiz storm that would ensue?

Agreed.

Evolutionarily speaking, as a species in general we might already be as smart as we need to be. Reproducing>Brilliance

Just a thought, not necessarily a well thought out one :)

Really, a problem is the baby boomer generation. They're living so much longer than any other generation, so the numbers look inflated. Average life expectancy is through the roof due to medicine and some people taking care of themselves well into the senior status with exercise and proper diet. Once the baby boomers die, you would think the population number would go down in America. But, probably not, because of the Duggars and families like the Duggars. Eventually, they will take over the world.

Quickest way to fix population inflation? Civil war in EVERY country. Let's do it!

Actually, the baby boomers have a minimal impact on those numbers. The lack of birth control and education in third world countries have a lot more to do with the exponential growth of the human race than the senior citizens in the US.
