If we draft a QB, what number should he wear?

Last year 3 rookie WR's took QB numbers 10,11,12. Clausen has #2, Moore has #3, both Kasay and Baker take up 4 and 7. If loyd comes back then 8 is gone. No one want's Jakes cursed #17.

So out of what's left, what would you prefer the QB's number to be?

Newton: #1/#9

Gabbert: #18/#19

Just for the record, I'm not for drafting a QB, but since it's a possibility and I'm going to be buying a jersey, I've been thinking about what number they would wear if we selected one of them.

#19 seems like a weak QB number to me. That has bust written all over it. #1 is always cool but a little pretentious. Something a entertainer and icon would wear. :lol:

#1 would be cool, i think he would go #13 (florida gators number) or 14 or some other single digit number that can be divisible by 2.

Numbers like that just don't seem to match a rushing QB with a big arm. #!5 maybe, but nothing past that.

It is a new era. What number was successful back then may not be a numner that can be successful in 2011.
