Overrated games

What is the most overrated games you have ever played. I know this has the potential to turn in to a flame war, but honestly, what game failed to live up to all the hype? For me, it was Assassin's Creed. I played for about 5 hours, and found the game play to be insanely repetitive. The abnormally weird story line didn't help.

I think it more depends on what sort of games you like. I felt Battlefield 2 was overrated but I prefer a faster paced shooting game. Then I could say Dragon Age is overrated but I hate western rpgs.

Probably the best example of an overrated game would be a game in a genre(s) you like. Taking that into account I'd say the Uncharted series is overrated. I think the characters and story are awful and the online multiplayers is bad.

    • 6 yards a pop is a touchdown every single drive.
    • And those teams would lose. ------- I'm no Bryce Stan, but I have problem giving him his due. Sure, he has sucked so bad that his stats pre-benching are dragging what he's been able to do since, particularly the last three games, but to act like he hasn't actually looked like a QB with real promise for the last month is simply dishonest. All of a sudden (or not), certain Huddlers act like they have no concept of improvement---like they're suffering an inability to compartmentalize games or a group of games, or the inability to mentally separate Bryce's play when juxtaposed against the rest of the team. That's what analysis is all about. From my observation over the now decades of being here, I know that some of you can do it better than you're letting on. Just be honest about Bryce's improvement. He still may not be the future, but based upon his improvement the last month, it's rational to say that he just may have earned a chance to at least compete for the job next season. Of course he has to keep improving and show a level of consistency for the remainder of this season...
