Moth balls.

Moth balls.

Animals don't like moth balls.

You can get 'em at the dollar store.

Sing this to the tune of "Friday" and it will stay in your head.

I would not suggest this. Moth balls are toxic and kill everything around them.

I use Cat Stop to keep cats away from my car. Its expensive but it works...

When to use moth balls

Many gardeners like to use mothballs to keep animals out of their flowerbeds. Small animals such as rabbits and squirrels can tear up a beautiful flower garden. They are plant eating and can devour a garden easily. If there are mothballs present above the soil those pesky critters will keep their distance. When using mothballs to deter wildlife it is important to remember to replace them often. The rainwater and soil moister will cause the mothballs to dissolve. The more rain that you have the more often the mothballs need to be added to the flowerbed. It is important to remember that the balls are poisonous to children and should not be in reach of small hands.

Deer are also repelled by the presence of mothballs. Many people have problems with deer eating the foliage in the yard. Sprinkle a generous amount of mothballs around the plants that the deer like to eat and they will keep their distance. It is important to remember to keep a good steady replacement of mothballs on the ground and your landscape will flourish, free from wildlife destruction.

You might not want to use orange juice If it's going on any grass or plants, it could damage them.

The sugars in orange juice can harm plants in several ways. The sugars will make it difficult for plants to absorb water, and can promote the growth of microbes in the soil surrounding the plants. These microbes can compete with the plants for oxygen and minerals, and produce waste products that harm the roots.

A dog is your best option, if you can handle one. I had feral 3 cats coming constantly to a place I rent because the people before them fed them for several years. I put my inside dog on a stake in the back for a few hours a day and in a week they steer clear of this place. In a way it feels mean but I almost killed one running it over. You can try scaring them daily with those small white firework popper things or fireworks in general. Other than that animal control is an option but you might as well shoot them.
