Who runs the grill?

I know the consensus, at least from men, is that the grill is the man's domain, but why? Its still cooking. Just with fire instead of an oven or stove top.

I thought about this last night while enjoying a beer and the weather on my patio, and watching the wife grill our chicken. A meat that I often leave under cooked because I am partially color blind. I do the same with pork. When I grill everything but beef is cut before it leaves the grill, and the wife has to look at it. We don't want to overcook it either you know.

So I am fine with her taking the grill duties, and I don't feel like less of a man because of it. In fact I feel a little more catered to and served. That's how it is at my house. You?

i've just always heard that a woman has no place at the grill, but i disagree. i've actually seen men keep their women from doing anything on the grill, and also women refuse to do it with a, "no thats your thing" excuse.

    • You're correct. He shows flashes. Maybe 1 play every 4 to 5 drives. If you were a coaching staff facing a QB who only passes for a TD on 15% of their drives, completes less than 60% of his passes, and has a redzone TD% of less than 25% while getting to the redzone 30% of their drives, what's your game plan?
    • The stats were from the last 5 games, which are arguably Stroud's worst in his career vs Bryce's best
    • Also, I feel AT's tantrum was one of the final straws in getting Bryce to the bench. A lot of Bryce defenders called for him to be traded and crapped on Canales for bending to the will of the players. I knew then AT was just extremely frustrated because he was getting open and Bryce wouldn't throw the ball downfield even a little bit with time! It seemed even more pronounced because Diontae's pouting and poor route running was rearing its ugly heads as well, but everyone knows AT is a solid teammate/mentor. He is just continuing to prove that and of course his attitude is better because his QB is giving them a chance to win, catch passes, make plays again!
