Sorry but the reason the Panthers don't want him is because he lacks intangibles and isn't a winner. Otherwise his athleticism and high wonderlic and better system would make him the front runner. Do you have any other explanation for why we aren't even considering him that much?

He has more experience as a starter than Newton. He does have the intangibles of 1st round QB's that have come out in the past few years. This is coming from people who actually GET PAID to make these judgements. But of course you are a better draft analyzer right? Did he win more than Newton? No. Did he carry his team? Yes, he was made the leader of the team his Junior year (that's very rare in Missouri). It was an honor for him. He's a leader, he can win a locker room. He will be much better in a Pro offense than in a spread. If he has a mix of all the QB's listed in the OP then he can be successful.

You're an idiot. That's not tape. Tape is a view of the entire field and is something that only NFL personnel can get their hands on (but I'm sure there are a few exceptions).

We all know Newton wasn't the sole reason for Auburn going to (especially winning) the championship game. It was the defense. This is a team sport, of course any QB's going to need help. Even Peyton Manning and Tom Brady would struggle without a good supporting cast.

Oh, by the way, there's no need to make excuses for a QB rated higher than Newton, and has similar comparisons to current franchise QB's. (Still don't like ether of them).

Yeah the 53rd ranked defense was the major reason they were good. Forget about the 7th ranked offense that averaged 41 points a game. Yeah it was the 24 points they gave up that put them over the top.

I really wish people would do some research before they spout off uninformed comments.

Yeah he looks great in shorts and a T-shirt. Problem is that his 16 TDs when he put on the pads wouldn't even have had him holding the other guys jockstrap.
