That's the season.....

I'm not too down about it, we wouldn't have did much in the playoffs anyway I don't think. Not with Jax/TT having injury problems.

I think we could be in an OK position to move into the future. We lost Wallace, which hurt, but we picked up some picks, cap relief, and Cunningham (whom has been impressive).

The Kwame Brown pickup turned out to be awesome, he played solid for us, it was worth the chance.

Diaw needs traded or something, he can be really amazing sometimes but then stink it up for a week or two. We need more consistency. It's time to move away from him.

I think Jax is here till his contract runs out, I don't know who would want him, if we can get some quality for him I'd be game to trade him.

TT needs to get healthy, and he needs to be our starting PF, I hope this happens next year.

D.J. improved, but I think we still need more out of him. I have hope.

I think the Shaun Livingston pick-up has been decent too.

I've been really excited about Henderson's development. I think he could be the face of our franchise. His defense is already top-notch, if he can drop 20+ points a night he'll be a force.

Not everything was bad this year, and honestly if we started out with Silas at coach we'd probably be in the playoffs. Let's hope MJ/Silas make some good moves this off-season and we improve.

Our season has been over for some time. We really need to cash in our draft picks this year. We can't afford to be having bad draft picks. We are in rebuilding mode (which a lot of people wanted) and really I don't expect us to make the playoffs next year either. We have to be willing to wait.

this team wasn't gonna do anything in the playoffs healthy...they dam sure wouldn't have done anything with jack, livingston, and TT banged up...time to tank and look forward to the draft...jordan has to get these picks right this year...no more setting the team back with poor drafting...although, henderson is looking like a pretty solid pick now so maybe he is turning the corner with his drafting skills...nah!

just get it done jordan!!!

Unfortunately, NO's win over Houston locks them into the playoffs and our draft pick from them continues to slide down...somewhere around 20-21 right now although it could move up to 19 (18th is the very best it could be which isn't likely).

Still, two first round picks (as long as they're used right) would go a long way to turning the Bobcats in the right direction. Who knows you might even be able to package Jackson with something to grab another draft pick. The Cats might be able to grab Terrence Jones for the wing with their first pick if he slides just a couple of spots. Then you could package Jackson with the later first round pick to move up and grab a guy like Donatas Motiejunas or Jan Vesley down low. While PG was a question mark at the beginning of the season I think DJ has pretty much locked that down. As an outside observer I see the Cats biggest needs as SF and C which this draft has a lot of talent in. If the Cats aren't sold on DJ though they could always grab Brandon Knight....

I even think, with gerald wallace, jax, dj, thomas, etc we would have been lucky to win one game in the playoffs..and that is now what jordan is about obviously. Addition through subtraction. This is a transitional phase that is needed to take the next step in a few years.

need to get rid of jackson for anything, and get some value from Diaw. I feel like the Celtics could have used Diaw instead of Green.....man if we had gotten Perkins somehow I would have been ecstatic

Yeah that would have been nice. But that would have never happened because Jeff Green has way more value than Diaw.

As far as the draft goes I think Center, Small Forward, and Point Guard are our needs. I think Center is our most pressing but don't know much about these international guys, who seem to be dominating the Center position this year. I like JaJuan Johnson but don't think he is worth where we'll pick.

I am not trying to knock your opinion, but I do disagree that we are okay to move forward into the future.

1) Look around at the eastern conference, there teams with superstars surrounded by stars or very good role players. These teams will find the one player to play a role. The NJ nets are on the rise with All-Star Williams, and Lopez, Chicago, Orlando, Atlanta, Miami, NY are all going to be tough teams to compete with going into the future. Boston should start declining, but they still have pierce, rondo, green so they will not decline that much.

2) Honestly, we’ve had some young guys step up and play good this season but honestly they are coming off the bench or are a 4th option on some of these other eastern conference teams… That’s not going to take us to being relevant.

3) As I said at this time last year we are stuck in mediocrity until we can get a superstar here to build around. OKC, and Chicago got there’s by drafting at the top of the draft. We are not bad enough to be in position to land a franchise superstar player as long as we keep finishing around #10. Also the draft this year is not deep, and it is very weak IMO. Drafting around #10 and somewhere in the 20’s were not likely to get some game changing player who is going to make much difference. It’s also not realistic to expect top FA to want to come here. They want to go to a winning franchise, not to try and build one by themselves. Even Atlanta who has been improving and a city a lot of players have houses in cannot attract top FA from outside the team. It’s also my opinion CP3 will not come here. He’s a competitor and wants to win… He will probably want to go somewhere that he is not the only or main option. If that’s the case he could just stay in NO where he’s the man.

4) So staying this course I could see us competing for 7 and 8 seeds most years, but nothing that will take us to relevance.

18th is still very possible, They play at the Grizzlies Sunday.

    • It must be an early Christmas for JT O'Sullivan having Thielen back so he could put a coal in Thielen's stocking every chance he gets.  Honestly, the biggest surprise is not so much the anticipation. There were those moments here and there last year as well. It's that even that one positive quality he had seemingly vanished his first two games to where it looked like it was all but over, only for it to start coming back some until you get exclamation points all over this game film. And some of those throws were under a lot of duress, something I feel is something new. Finally, those deeper shots are starting to land. Not all of them, but enough that defenses may have to start respecting them. No guarantees whether this will end up as more of anomaly but I certainly hope it isn't. The Green Bay game was a sampler of what BY could be. Against KC, we got a meal. If we could start getting these meals regularly, we might actually have something to work with here.

    • Heels let another team go up 20 on them but this time they complete the comeback. HD never seems to have his team ready but he makes great halftime adjustments. Powell played the majority of the second half and his defense was the difference along with his big three pointer to give the Heels the lead for good. Trimble and Davis were also spectacular. Carolina can’t let Auburn get out to a 20 point lead though, they won’t be able to come back from that.
