There are 4 pretty sure things at the top of the draft

Dareus

V Miller

P Peterson

AJ Green

These guys have the best chance to be playing 10 yrs from now

Do not drop below the 4-5 range

get one of these guys plus a second rounder.

done

A lot of Bills fans on this forum trying to get some info

We don't need info, we have the National Media giving us that.

We are clear on you not really wanting a QB, but If we moved up, it could solidify us getting us the player we want.

I would absolutely explode in my pants if we could trade down with Washington for #10, #41, 2012 1st Rd (gamble here... maybe no 2012 pick >.>), then trade down with STL for #14 & #78.

#14? Mike Pouncey! Plug that hole up that was leaking last season. Plus it would put the team in a position to trade up w/ Denver for Marvin Austin in the 2nd.

If the team isn't taking Cam Newton, I'd rather not take any QB unless Rivera thinks we're ready for the Tyrod Taylor Experience.

Just 3 more weeks... 3 more weeks... *rocks back and forth*

I'd much rather trade with Buffalo for their 1st and 2nd so that the team can still get Austin and a top 5 pick. I'm super sold on big Marv >.>

I'd like to stay in the. 1-8 range.

I agree, but we did just bring in Cameron Jordan. And since he's slated to go around the 10-15 range, he might be a target if we do move down that far.

After all, he is projected to be able to play DE in both a 3-4 & 4-3, but also a beast rushing from the inside. He actually has enough size that the team might see him as a legitimate 3-tech guy in our defense (on NFLN the other night, one of the guys made this exact point...about him possibly being a dynamic 3-tech DT, not the Panthers trading down and picking him up).

I think it's going to be very difficult to trade down without a CBA in place. Without the CBA, teams are up in the air about who they could get via FA, and players can't be included in any deal. Even if you could trade the rights, they couldn't, for example, talk to someone like Carson Palmer about re-negotiating.

So with it being only straight draft picks, it will be hard for another team to give us enough value to move down. Yes, you could consider taking 2012 picks, but that is really risky at this point.

I know everyone is already aware of these factors, but there seems to be a bit of denial of how big an impact this CBA situation has on draft day deals.

Heard Pat Kirwin talk about trading down. He said that he did a few times when he was with the Jets. Said he doubts anyone could trade up more than 3 or 4 spots in the draft at the top end of the first round. He said it would get way too expensive unless we gave the pick away. If we are not going Newton, there would little reason for other teams to want to trade up and teams like Washington would have to give up way too much to move up that many spots.

I think the best trade scenario will be the bengals and Arizona.. I dont think we shouldnt trade back no further then at least 8 or 10. The only way i trade back will be for a next year first and a dis year second.

I agree with this. I think Tennessee at 8 if we gave them a deal and accepted 2012 picks is about as far as we could go. However, Jones (#9) and Snyder (#10) are desperate and crazy. They could offer us a ton to move up (I think Jones would love Newton). Buffalo is interesting because they have to think we are looking QB and then Cincy or Arizona could jump them by trading with denver. I imagine the Panthers would call it even for Buffalo's second rounder, even though the value is nearly double that.

We know the Bengals are in a bad situation, but they seem to be bringing in second round talent.

Buffalo and Arizona could be sending smoke signals. Arizona is saying they like Skelton and need a veteran. Buffalo recently said after a Cam visit that QB is not their biggest need, then they compared Gabbert's athleticism with Newton's after a Blaine visit. Sounds fishy. I think they need Cam to sell tickets and keep the team in Buffalo. Well worth a second rounder.

I think Buffalo would be idea because we could still get a top QB, Dareus, Peterson, or Green. Win Win.
