When will Nelson issue a ruling?

It is highly unlikely she will rule from the bench Wednesday, likely issuing her decision later. She could side with the players and issue the injunction, she could side with the owners and deny one, or she could decide to wait until the National Labor Relations Board rules on an unfair labor practice charge against the now-dissolved players' union. That charge, filed by the league, alleges the players failed to negotiate in good faith. "If the players lose it, and the judge says that yes the lockout can continue, then it won't be long before these multimillion-dollar players begin to feel a very significant impact that they are not being paid for each game that they miss," Larson said. "If that starts to happen, then ... I think there's a rush to settlement." Still, any decision Nelson makes can be appealed by either side.

You should hope the players win, if the don't the season will be in serious jeopardy.

Well, if the owners win I'm hoping the players who aren't making multimillions will say fugit & grumble loud enough to shake the big $ boys or maybe accept contracts individually. (yeah I know but I gotta dream.)

Not gonna happen folks. The judge has seen both sides briefs, hehe, and I feel if she is a good judge she has to side with the owners.

The owners made major concessions, the owners stayed at the table and wanted to keep at it till something was hammered out. the NFLPA since training camp 2010 has been working on decertification.

also we can't forget the NFL on many occasions has said publicly 'we are here, we have tried to contact them and want to negotiate'. Whereas D Smith blew them off. The NFL has provided financial documentation that the NFLPA had no legal right to see and as Goodell said showing financials didn't keep another league from going through what we are going through now...seems he was right.

There is more than enough proof the NFLPA never had any intention on negotiating in good faith and wanted to decertify so they could turn this into the MLB. If they do win, I am telling you the owners will just close up shop and form a new league in a way the players will have the same rights as you and I in the work place. It is possible.
