As a fan, I'm fine with Newton if he can start immediately or very close thereto. Otherwise, I'd like to see Peterson with a possible trade down and a very aggressive FA pursuit for an interim QB.

Why the hell would he lie about that? He's been one of the most vocal anti-Newton posters on the board. Why would he say he has a source and then say that we're taking Newton? Just like most anti-Cam folks here, you're ignoring the painfully obvious simply because you don't want it to happen.

Exactly. Think about it, what has changed in the last week? Nothing lol. Hurney hasn't said anything, Rivera hasn't said anything, Cam didn't ace any more interviews... nothing's happened. It's true that the Cam buzz has grown, but this is only from the draft heads. I wouldn't be shattered if Cam ended up being our pick, but seriously guys, it's all media hype. Nothing's changed.
