Richardson didn't write the letter...I'm certain he simply drew a couple of pictures on a sheet of paper and pointed at the pictures and explained that he and the owners are all on the same page as that picture. Editors removed the "Michelle Beadle is hot" references.

Respect and graditude are great character traits to have in addition to independent thought and creativity.
