God Atlanta fans have got to be the dumbest collective sons of bitches in football. One of the comments there says that "Peppers is a free agent, how can you franchise tag an unrestricted free agent?" LMFAO!!

I saw that too....I just hope and pray that idiot does not reproduce. We can't afford to have the gene pool dilluted that much.

If your a player in the NFL and dont know about the rules of overtime, Yes you are a F*ckin idiot..and the phrase " He shouldnt reproduce" is just a phrase...It doesnt literally mean not to have children because of his stupidity, as stupid as he is...I think your taking it a bit too seriously Arsen, but too each his own. You should not be blind to the stupid Falcon fans who throw Carologic around, stating we are the dumbest fans and skew things too the Panthers favor continuously. Atleast most of our fans understand the rules of the game, and team management issues, which is where you should start if you plan on understanding the game of football as a whole...Its much more than players hitting each other and throwing a ball around.

I'd still like more than just the first, even if it's a 'next year' pick.

Not gonna happen.

We can't keep Pep on the books for 16million next year and the performance he is bound to give.

Teams know this.

I'm really doubting we get a 1st round pick at all for him to be honest.

not everyone is football crazy... not everyone knows every single rule in a book.

Every single rule? This is one of the major rules in Free Agency. It is all over the news and ESPN.

My point was that if you don't have a clue what you are taling about, you should not post a comment for everyone to read showing your ignorance.

He did not state that he did not understand....his comment was an insult to Panther fans because he thought we were the stupid ones for saying we should tag Pep. In fact, he was the ignorant one...and showed it.

I did... but trying to be a smart motherf*cker by talking down about someone else knowledge of the rule is plain stupid. McNabb had no clue about the double overtime rule (or tie)... is he moron because of that?

And talking down to me because my opinion did not agree with yours makes you what? Plain stupid is my vote.

I find it ironic that you were repsponding negative about my smart ass remark with......a smart ass remark.

Pot meet kettle.

I dont think he'd have choice... but it would be fun to watch for sure.

He would have a choice in that if they tag to trade, the player has to agree to a new deal with the new team first. No team will take Pep in trade on a 1 year FT #. So if he hates the thought of a team, he can simply choose not to agree to a LT deal with that team.

I am starting to think the same way. We are in a very bad negotiating spot, and everyone knows this.

The only thing that we have going for us, is a very bad D line draft class coming out this year. We will need a team that thinks that they are one "piece" from being great, and for Pep to think that too.

This board will go nuts when we get a 2nd for him.
