This. Generally, old money is not worth much unless it's extremely rare or contains an error.

I have plenty old coins, but altogether they aren't worth more than a few hundred dollars. Lots of late 18th century early 19th century U.S. coins as well as some Iraqi Dinar and German Reichsmarks from WWII.

My Mom used to have a bunch of old coins. Even a couple of Roman coins. She had 2 of those rare pennies that were appraised at 10K each.

But, My little brother discovered the joys of meth and sold them all.

I wanted one of the Roman coins to make a necklace out of. I should have grabbed it before he did.

    • Is this the wrong place to ask?  Help me please!!   I'm taking my 12 year old to his first game.  We would like to get there early.  Are there any kid friendly tailgating areas?   Thanks in advance
    • Honestly Bryce is a conundrum right now I'm not really sure what we should do with him but I am content on him being the quarterback number one going into next season. I think we should allow him the chance to play out the season to prove that he's the quarterback he can be going into next season.  I would not waste a high draft pick on a quarterback because I'm not sure anyone in this up and coming class is as good or has the ceiling that he had with that said I wouldn't throw away the future I would bring in someone like Justin Fields to have him looking over his shoulder and give us a plan b if everything doesn't go right on a one-year deal. I think the priority right now if tepper wants to make a big splash is find a way to get Travis Hunter that would be option 1AA because he helps with both sides of the field either way whatever you need defense or offense. Make that happen and then go mostly defense the rest of the way and we're cooking.
