Blaine Gabbert's hush hush character issue: underage drinking, fighting

Jamarcus' bust is almost on a non-comparative level. Jamarcus just completely lost his will to play football, and his overall dedication to the game.

If Cam were to bust I would place it at a pure lack of technique than anything. Nothing compares to the mockery of the sport than what Jamarcus did.

Nothing.

Gabbert haters see this as a concern

Gabbert fans do not

People who are not partial to Cam or Gabbert also see this as a non issue.

And these are the only options? I like Gabbert as a player, but prefer Newton. And no, the fight and drinking is no big deal.

The anti-Blaine comments some are making in this thread are just a reaction to some of the nonsense that has been said about Cam.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Everyone just needs to lighten up.

COLUMBIA, MO (AP) -- Freshman Missouri quarterback Tyler Gabbert has a broken nose after a weekend fight outside a Columbia pizza parlor.

The Columbia Daily Tribune reports that Gabbert; his brother, Blaine; and linebacker Andrew Gachkar got into a fight with another group of men outside Gumby's Pizza around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. No one was arrested.

Police say the fight involved taking too long in the bathroom.

A police report says the players and the others involved likely had been drinking, but no one was ticketed or arrested. Of the three players involved, Gachkar is the only one of legal drinking age.

Both quarterback Blaine Gabbert and Gachkar are starters. Tyler Gabbert is in his first semester at Missouri after finishing high school early.

Wait, he got in a fight because someone was taking too long in the bathroom?

Sounds like he'd fit right in with the the Panther's

Cheerleaders :D

found a USA today story with quotes that sound like what I had heard. May be inaccurate, who knows:

http://content.usatoday.com/communities/campusrivalry/post/2010/02/missouri-freshman-tyler-gabbert-ends-up-with-broken-nose-after-dispute/1

Mine was posted later that day with an update from a local reporter that's going to be more in touch with what's happening than a national reporter. Just like how Panther beat writers know more about what's really going on with the Panthers than, say, John Clayton.

Underage drinking and fighting is what everyone I ever knew did at that age. From current preachers to CEOs. I'm not concerned about that no matter who the person is.

And yet everybody also cheated on tests at that age too. Doesn't stop from us hearing about how evil and dishonest Cam was for cheating on tests at age 18 everyday.
