That because they are too busy making anti-newton threads and posting constant negative comments in every pro newton thread. For most it is picking Gabbert because they don't want newton rather than wanting him.

And yes we know about the folks who don't want a Qb in the draft at all.

Newton fans are allowed to make a thread every fuging time an analyst/whatever says he's good, but those against Newton can't make a thread when someone says otherwise?

Honestly, this kind of thing happens about every year.

It is about the only thing you can count on every year. People throw terms around without even stopping to think.

It has been said this year about PP, Newton, AJ Green, Von Miller, etc. They are all once-in-a-decade prospects until the next draft, when they will be supplanted by the next crop.

Man, I am going to REALLY enjoy reading through the reaction thread on draft day when Goodell announces our pick and it's Cam. I wonder how many posts it'll take before someone says "we're going to trade him still... we can still trade him... Eli/RiversOMGOMGRARARA!"

This franchise has been through some dark days and now it's time to draft the light to show us the way out. No more pussyfooting around with nobody QB's and glorified backups. It's time to bring in a true specimen to take this team where it's never been before and where it'd never be if the "safers" (anti-QB crowd) had their way.
