You know what I am tired of?

I am tired of posters constantly discrediting Newton by comparing him to mostly quarterbacks who failed in the past as proof that he will fail as well.

The only successful qb that he can be compared to is Ben.

Yeah ******* right I'm reading through that, and the only link I clicked (The Golden Calf of Bristol) said "student-athlete."

Nice try, bub.

Okay, google "once in a lifetime athlete, and then each of their names.

I think Vick was the only once in a lifetime athlete at QB on that list.

How come Gabbert trollers don't catch as much heat as Newton trollers?

Because the Gabbert supports are not starting 15 threads a day trying to cram an over-hyped and over-rated QB prospect down everyone else's throats.

That because they are too busy making anti-newton threads and posting constant negative comments in every pro newton thread. For most it is picking Gabbert because they don't want newton rather than wanting him.

And yes we know about the folks who don't want a Qb in the draft at all.

newton isn't a once in a lifetime talent

vick is more talented than newton in just about every aspect except size. bigger arm, better accuracy, faster, more elusive, etc. only thing newton has on him is size.

suh is probably the best overall prospect I've seen in my years watching football, and even then calling him a once in a lifetime talent is a stretch
