I don't know how else to explain the upside thing lol. But about the bar fight,Cam wasn't arrested for the stolen lab top but still its every where. I bet less than 20% of this board even knew about the gabbert fight thing. Because of how big of a name he has he is under the microscope a little more than Gabbert.

He was arrested but the charges were dropped because he did some pretrial stuff. Doesn't mean the concern isn't there

which is more serious stolen property or a broken nose. seems like gabberts situation was more serious than what we were lead to believe. not saying the labtop thing is minor,but in his case people were hurt which could be bad for the team or teamates if this flairs up again. It doesn't seem less serious than the labtop thing.

I'm not arguing on seriousness of offenses.

I dunno I think some guy breaking your bro's nose outside a pizza place is a bit different than being arrested for possession of stolen property, and quite a bit more minor all things considered. we do not even know what role Blaine played in it, we just know he was there with his bro and another teammate and it was pretty minor so no arrests were made or anything.

The guy who ripped Cam (due to extreme racism, no doubt) also ripped Clausen in very similar fashion a year ago. The other reporters ignored it.

Clausen went from early first rounder to a mid second rounder. Cam will fall. Mark my words.

ultimately I don't think Newton's character issues will matter at all, but why reach? If the only thing you can find to prove a guy's character isn't solid is that he stepped into a fight after his brother's nose got broken because he was taking too long to piss at a pizza place, I think you're taking this stuff way too seriously.

The labtop thing droped. the money thing hasn't been pined on him so why why say cam did it is beyond me. But if gabbert threw a punch or whatever the situation he was involvied holds up it would mean more to the team than a stolen labtop. If cam is selected number 1, i think it'd be safe to say he wouldn't have to steal anything, and as far as cheating on a test this is the nfl. While i think gabbert didnt start the fight, whos to say that aggressive personality won't lead to other fights within the team?

He could easily get into it with steve smith day one and it would be ken lucas all over again. He could fight other teamates hurt members of the staff i don't know. Weather he was defending or not this thing shouldn't be swept under the rug just like the cam situation.
