Didn't say he missed time, said he hasn't been fully healthy since we drafted him, which he hasn't.

Trading a 1st, 2nd and 4th for a one dimensional RT is a bad idea to begin with before you even get to the fact that he came into the NFL with injury concerns, limited football experience and questioned devotion to the game.

Godfrey made the starting lineup because we didn't have anyone else at safety, not because he's such a great pick or great value. Not only were there better overall players on the board there were better safeties available.

If you're really trying to tell me Godfrey is an impact player then that tells me all I need to know about your ability to be objective. And me playing in the NFL has nothing to do with having an opinion on how our draft looks lol really

Stewart hasn't been healthy. Why do you say that? Cause he hasn't practiced enough? The only playing time he has missed was from a concussion. H runs well, and has great stats. So please tell me again why him missing practice equats to him not being healthy? They took care of the guy, he still runs well, and more consistent, and he has health issues. Please, stop being so stupid.

Then they did trade back up to get a monster tackle. He's dominate in the run game, so you call him one deminsional, even though he still can pass block well, jjust not as dominate as his run blocking.

Godfrey was one of he first pieces to fixing our safety problems we use to have. Seems to me everybody around here doesn't give him any credit. That's fine.

It's obvious you just have an axe to grind, and facts arnt important to you. I understand you opinion, but don't try to pass it off as fact.

no axe to grind, just an objective view on our draft. yours is just the typical homer spin to everything. stewart has been fully healthy, otah pass blocks well and was worth trading for, godfrey doesn't get enough credit, blah blah blah

It baffles me how anyone can call Godfrey good. Did the people that say that watch him at all since we drafted him? The guy continuously blows coverages and misses assignments. On just about every play you can see him shrug his shoulders and throw up his arms in a confused manner because he doesnt know what the hell he's supposed to do.

As to what they gave up to trade back up into the first, it was value. I love how people continue to hold onto " they trade x, y, and z picks to get this player,"

That is the value of the picks, and the cost of getting that pick.

"They gave up a 1st..."

He was a first roud pick. They didn't give up that pick. They picked two first round players. The value was there. Argue all you want about the effectiveness of the player picked, but to continue to argue about the cost, just shows ya don't understannd the value of the picks.

I see, don't care to respond to the facts, so you throw out the homer card. You couldn't be objective if your life depended on it. Nice cop out though!

oh "facts" like stewart has been fully healthy and otah pass blocks well, those kind of "facts" yeah sorry i don't feel like wasting my time trying to convince some homer of reality when it's obvious you're doing every possible mental gymnastic to convince yourself otherwise

It baffles me how people ignore what the kid does do. It also baffles me even more how much pepople forget about mintor's blown coverages...there were many of them, on a pretty consistent basis. But cause he was a big hitter and a role model, everyone ignore the blown coverages he had, and says he's the best safety we've ever had, and I'm the one being called a homer. Lol

Fact is, our safeties are the best we've ever had as a pair. Plus they are still young. Good situation to be in as they will continue to get better. Do we have an ed reed? I wish! But out safties are as bad as you and others make it our to be.
