Things to do in Burlington

the red oak brewery is just 10 minutes away.

Yeah, you will pass it on 85 on your way there, its all glass so you can see into it too....pretty cool.

More fun things about Burlington

-There is a Golden Corrall and a Hooters when you get off the highway:ack2:

- They have Biscuitville and Cookout there, which I have limited access to here in Charlotte....yummm

-The nicest restaurant there is B Christophers, which really isn't too expensive, same guy opened a less expensive more laid back bar type of place right next to it.

-I worked at a place called Village Grille right there on Huffman Mill which is the main strip, they have awesome food and great appetizers.

-You could go to a Burlington Royals baseball game

annnnd that's just about it unless you plan on heading into the town of Elon

Red Oak.

Sandy's Subs in Elon is alright if it's not packed with students.

Its usually only packed around 2 when the bar closes.

A couple years ago, though, the guy sold out and now there is some new dude and the food is nowhere near what it used to be when the hispanic dude was there.

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
