Yes, I know, another Peppers scenario

I know everybody is tired of Peppers scenarios, but how bout this idea.

We all know that Peppers is most likely gonna be franchised and traded. Well, what if we trade him for a 1 draft pick in next years draft. The QB pool is much better in next years draft. They can have that number one and then another first round pick next year. Then, depending on how the team does, they can use both picks to move up in the first round and get a QB like The Golden Calf of Bristol.

Also, I have seen a lot of people who have said that the Cardinals would not trade Boldin for Peppers, but I think they might. What about Peppers to the Browns (3-4 defense) for Braylon Edwards. I know he dropped a lot of balls last year, but he has a great upside and would be a great compliment to Smith. We could do that and then sign Haynesworth at DT. I like Lucas at CB and see no need to get Asomugha.

Also, I have mixed emotions on keeping Gross. I think we could replace him by moving Wharton back to LT and signing a guard. Maybe Alan Faneca depending on how much he wants. Or we could keep Hangartner and have him start at LG. I think he is capable. Maurice Williams with the Jags might also be a free agent. He has some talent. Also, for the DE problem. What about Ekuban or Kalimba Edwards, or Travis Laboy? I think they can easily fill the void at DE. That fills needs at DT and OL. And also a decent DE, and could also give us a solid #2 reciever. Then we can build in this years draft (addressing DE, OL, TE/FB, CB, and Saftey) and draft The Golden Calf of Bristol in next years draft. What about your thoughts?

Oh, we could also pick up Leftwich in free agency.

Umm how about not doing any of that.

First Trading peppers for a first next year doesn't help our cause this season now does it????? Fox isn't going to do that. It would be for picks in this years draft unless we got two first with one of them being in next years draft.

Second. Fox would rather get his QB in FA, he hasn't drafted but one QB and that was in the 4th/5th round. So you can knock that Idea out the window there.

Player for player deals hardly ever happen in the nfl. If we trade Peppers it will be for Picks not another player. WR isn't a need we have good depth there even if we cut Hackett.

Haynesworth has too many character question too end up here. Asomugha will be Franchise tagged by Oakland. So there's those.

Now for the Line movement, We do not want Wharton back at LT, he's only average there where at LG he's really really good. OT in FA is really really slim pickings for OT's as well especially for LT's. Faneca signed a massive deal last offseason with the Jets.

Draft wise.....

We need DE, DT and even some more Dline depth. Maybe a backup corner to go behind Marshall if do in fact cut Lucas.

Leftwich is a no go though, his arm delivery is horrible for the NFL.
