i have no problem with people not liking the guy but when you call him a thug, or other bad names it is ridiculous. this is for all prospects they are football players, judge them for their work on the field not off. i understand you have to take into account the off field issues but to say someone will not be successful because of off field issue is crazy.

and never once have i heard anyone call BigBen a thug.

A couple of observations.

How Nawrocki reviewed Newton doesn't tell you whether he is a racist or not. Some people who are racist hide it while others blatantly proclaim it with every word.

If he were racist he might be looking at the negative elements to emphasize or he might be negative in his reviews of Newton for totally different reasons. Some of the criticism about Newton is racially based, but you can't assume that all negative reviews are racially inspired.

It is entirely possible that his negative views are based on other factors rather than racism. The bigger issue is not what inspired them but whether or not they are true or not.

on another note, if you want to find out if a person is a closet racist, have their child bring home a person of another race and indicate they are getting married and watch for the reaction. That will tell you all you need to know. And for what it is worth racism occurs on both sides of the equation not just one side.
