Racism Quiz

Recommended Posts

While I'm at it, lemme tell you what I find sad about this whole thing.

I grew up in a time when there was real racism, separate schools, unequal access, color coded facilities, race riots, racial violence...you name it. And this was in an area known for racism, under the roof of a father who was a confirmed racist, and in a town where one of the council members was a former member of the KKK.

Fast forward to today, and here I'd like to think I live in a world where we can get along. But then suddenly when people raise concerns about a kid with a known criminal record and a lot of legitimate questions about his character - a kid who's going to make millions of dollars regardless - you have people screaming "OMG, RACISM"!

That...is...sad :nonod:

Are there still racist people in the world? Sure there are. There are also people who play the race card and cry "wolf" over stuff with no racial background at all. And whether you want to admit it or not, that sort of thing makes it tougher to deal with the real issues when we're confronted by them.

You want to say "let's all just get along"? Cool. Me too, but don't think that all the change has to go on one side. Disliking the way Cam Newton plays quarterback is no more an indication of racism than disliking the way Barrack Obama runs the country, but when you throw around racist accusations for things like that, you do as much damage and show as much prejudice as the people on the other side who suggest blacks are genetically inferior.

You want to go looking for racism under every rock? You'll find it, whether it's there or not. But while you're fighting a straw man, the Imperial Wizard will be sitting back and chuckling :nonod:

Going to post my opinion before I see who they are.

1. Yes. good qb can develop easily. Mistakes are easily correctable which is rare.

2. No. System qb that will take a while to develop. How many projects have developed?

3. Lol no thanks, I know who it is and he is alright, but no franchise qb.

4. Yes. Can adjust to a new offense apparently, has the tools and running ability, why not.

5. Maybe. Take him later rounds, would not touch him early on based on this description though. Having all the tools is important.

6. No. Don't touch him with a ten foot pole. Character issues = bad qb.

7. Maybe. The offense was made arround him, lat round pick is fine if he produced.

8. No. Non clutch qb is no thanks.

9. No, don't want an egomaniac project.

10. Yes. Furthest in development of the qb class and athletic with no noted down sides? Um, yeah.

11. Maybe. Grooming is fine, long delivery not that much of an issue, late round pick if he is that succesful in college.

12. No. I would not touch him anywhere.

13. Maybe. Totally depends on his work ethic and personality. I don't want a Russel.

14. Yes. Love confidance, team player and everything about him sounds pretty awesome.

Guessing on the races at all or just going with a rundown of who you'd take?

I'll post who they actually are a little later. Wanna see who else is brave enough to take the quiz first
