You can only tag one unrestricted free agent period. It doesn't matter which kind you use. Restricted free agents can be tendered at different levels and you can do more than one. Not so with unrestricted free agents.

We are only able to use a transition tag OR a franchise tag on one player. Once you do one, you cannot do the other, one player only...
