How do you brush your teeth?

As for the brushing too hard, yes, you probably are. The dentist told me that she saw signs of my gums receding because of it, So, like Klong said...get a soft bristle brush.

The problem is you don't pay attention to how hard you are brushing until you remember that its bad for your gums, so having a soft bristle brush helps that. Or, the dentist told me if I didn't want to do that, just buy an electric toothbrush and you should be lightly brushing it over your teeth just so the circular movement thingy is on them, but not pressing down hard.

She also told me that 2 mins/day twice a day is all you need to have healthy teeth. No need for all this brush my teeth five times a day at work bs.

I'm really bad at brushing my tongue though because sometimes it makes me puke.

Anybody ever brush their teeth in the shower?

I used to all the time.....not so much anymore though...guess I just made it into a habit of doing it right when I get outta the shower.

I shave my legs in the shower and Ive always wondered how hard it must be for guys to do that with their faces...dont you need a mirror?

Depends how late I wake up and how much time I have. Dorm living requires speed in going between room and bathroom, so if I wake up 30 minutes before class, I do. If I wake up like I LIKE to (an hour or 2 before class) then I don't.

Depends on if you keep a beard/mustache or not. If you go clean shaven, then it isn't really hard because you can feel any areas you missed.

Got a sonicare toothbrush a while back and will never go back to a regular brush. It runs for 2 minutes, the recommended time, and shuts off so you know you did a good job. Teeth have never felt cleaner. Highly recommended.

As soon as I have $100 to use, I will.

I brush twice a day, and floss before and after I brush them at night... Before to loosen crap up, then after to get anything that is stubborn...

Afterward, I swish with watered down hydrogen peroxide and then Listerine...

The morning brush is pretty slack, admittedly, but I'm not eating in my sleep... It is mainly to get rid of the dragon breath...

I try to hit each tooth from all angles for at least 10 seconds. It isn't hard considering I'm missing a couple... lol
