What he was trying to say, and what I agree with is the fact that the purpose of a forum and a thread like this is to give your personal input on the matter.

stafford was throwing to massoquoi, green, pope, and handing the ball off to Knowshon Moreno.

Ryan was playing with a bunch of guys from the stands named dave.

Stafford was also playing vs SEC defenses, not some chump ACC nonsense.(especially in the years Ryan was there)

So I say it evens out.

You give your opinions, I give mine. Neither is more valid than anyone else's on this forum. I have my own unrealistic ideas (like a dual threat TE) but I realize the team doesn't think like I do.

We could talk how great if we traded for Peyton Manning or DeMarcus Ware too. Personally, I'd just rather discuss things that have actual potential.

I think Stafford has more picks than TD's his junior year.

He was a very weak leader on a Georgia team that played soft all season.

His pick/TD ration isn't that spiffy this past season either.

Ouch! Stafford has progressed during his college career. He was a decent leader. He has a cannon for an arm and more than one scout/analyst believes that he is the real thing. With training, development, and opportunity, he may go far.

I didn't think Matty Ice had "It" either. It's way too soon to tell. But I neither want him nor can imagine a circumstance in which we would get him.

I like Nate Davis instead. Near the end of the second round? Why not? Of course this depends on what we get for Peppers. If Davis falls to us in the third, we'd be fools not to take him.

Stafford might be the best QB in the draft, but this is an atypically weak class. I think I'd rather stick with Matt Moore.

While I really like his numbers, and think that he could be a good pro, his not going back for his senior year, and his atrocious bowl games makes me scratch my head a little.
