I think the fans in these new consoles are way too small to keep them cooled off IMO.

Ive had 2 PS3s (Im on my 3rd)...both yellow lighted. The guy at Virtual Ambush looked at them and said they over-heated.

The new consoles need to be kept in a very open area to allow air flow and you have to vacuum the dust out regularly.

Yeah you're right. I should buy games a second time. That seems like a superb concept.

Same thing happened a while back to me. Except blowing onto the cartridges stopped working. I noticed that spit actually helped get games to work ._. So much for that warning on the back of the cartridges. I also opened mine up and noticed the connecters to the cartridge got flattened so i spring those up a little bit to make it easier to make a connection and cleaned them. The inside is very simple looking, if they had used gold connecters instead of copper or whatever they used, I'm sure no one would have had to blow onto these cartridges ever. Duck Hunt <3. I remember hiding myself under some pillows and pretending to snipe out of them.
