Sibling Rivalries...

I experienced this with both of my sibs...I'm the middle child.

My sister is 3 years younger than I am....when I was little I always ran with my older brother (3 years older) and my little sister was always too small to play anything with us, or if she did, we just didn't count her. I was a huge tomboy growing up so my brother was the one I looked up to and I always hung out with him and his friends.

All we did was exclude her and give her a hard time when we were younger, which led to she and I not getting along. We would scream, hit, punch, pull hair and that was just when we were under 10 years old.

It doesn't end there, YML, we were fighting over clothes from there on up because she was always stealing my clothes and wearing them without permission. It drove me crazy and this usually led to screaming and fighting to the point where my parents had to intervene.

My sister went into middle school and became the person that I hate. Very obsessed with material things, only worried about herself, and ignorant to anyone who tried to change that. This was the worst time, we were pretty much enemies.

Then came 9th grade....my sister finally realized how much of a dumbass she looked like to other people. I sort of broke it down one day and told her she was living her life like a fuging idiot and I wasn't the only one that thought that.

After that, she totally chilled out, even started to smoke weed a little bit. Now, I am 24 and she is 21 and we couldn't be better friends. My sister takes priority over everyone ....EVERYONE. She is my best friend over everyone and I would do anything for her. Like bleys said, no one effs with my sister or they will feel the wrath. Even with guys, they don't have to worry about meeting my dad and getting his approval. Number one approval comes from the sister, and it goes the same way with me too.

Dont worry YML, they will come around. Its been scientifically proven that having a sister and getting along with her is good for your health.

I remember taking my very first paycheck and paying the bully of my little brothers class to beat him every day for two weeks.

Now I just call the CFP board (he is an investment professional) once or twice a year and cause him problems.

Don't like him. Never did.

e: a couple years back had a girl call his house and go all fatal attraction on his answer machine. Almost got him divorced over it.

that's harsh. lol

Your sister wearing clothes without permission is harsh. To think all my brother did was throw a brick and hit me in the knee with it.

Pssshhh that physical damage is nowhere near the emotional scarring that I have experienced.....

it still stings:rolleyes5:
