I still dont know why

"This has to do more with Pep thinking he is better then the team and it has noting to do with me wanting him to stay."

So you'd be saying this right now if he was signed with us? And how exactly do you know what he's thinking? None of his teamates seemed very miffed about it, they all are wishing him the best and explained very simply that players need to take care of themselves first.

"I would rather have a hard working player like Hoover with less talent then a Player like Pep that had loads of it but dose not use it."

He's been pretty good here, he leads the franchise in sacks. Had a down year last year so that's 1 bad year out of 7. And by "using" his talent i geuss you we're expecting 20+ sacks a year, it's not that easy.

I'll even go as far to say he took plays off. I don't see how that makes him lazy considering for the majority of the time he was out wreacking havoc, bad year and all. For a overwhelming majority of the time he produced.

Also, to his credit...one of the reasons he's leaving is to ACHIEVE HIS POTENTIAL!!!!

"Is this any different then what Randy Moss has done or what T.O has done but on a low profile scale? NO and thats why I say he is selfish."

By saying it's on a lower profile scale, YES it is different. Peppers didn't publically quit on us. He didn't start doing freeweight excercises in his driveway to annouce he wanted to be somewhere different and throw everybody he coud under the bus. He did a press release through his agent and a phone conference with gantt, what more do you want?(other than peppers staying with the team of course)

By this logic every single player ever who has requested a trade is selfish and is on the same level as T.O.

"I find it funny how people still are defending what pep wants but threw Jenk under the bus for the same crap. Thats just amusing."

Jenkins

1. Publically said the team had no heart. Not privately, but publically.

2. Had extreme problems maintaing his weight, skipping off season workouts at times. Seems pretty lazy.

3. Didn't even like it here in the "country".

Jenkins opened himself up for the critiscism, he didn't handle himself well at all. When the team was performing poorly he completly lost his composure and it negativley affected the team. Did peppers do any of these things while being in the same situaiton? I don't remember him calling out the team, skipping workouts, or being overweight.

When a player shows respect to the organization and fans, he gets respect back, simple as that.

"Do remember this whole sh*tfan effect has been caused by there not so tactful interviews that Peps agent and himself have done. Not much has been kept in house."

I doubt this really will affect how the deals go down in the end. Gross and his agent would have found out anyway as would most of the NFL.

Partially because he wants out of NC, another part of that is he feels he's meet his potential in our scheme but not his overall potential. He wants to exploit his potential in a system he feels better suits his skills. From his interview those seem to be the biggest reasons why he wants to move on.

I have no idea why so many people take it personally. He just doesn't like Charlotte. Who knows why? Maybe there are not enough strip clubs, not enough bars that cater to african-americans, or not enough good looking women. Probably all three. Either way, he has played his last game for the Panthers.
