I don't think it's worth anything, and I'd say the same if his prediction were someone else.

It'd be a fallacy to think that just because a lot of fans think they know who they want that the organization does too.

We don't actually have to make that decision. If we did, and our livelihoods depended on it, I doubt we'd look at the choice so simply as we tend to.

I'd say media coverage, hype and speculation don't equate to "signs pointing".

The clearest signs coming from the organization itself say the decision isn't made yet, and won't be for weeks.

When Hurney says our biggest need is QB and Rivera says we're gonna draft for need then a short time later Newton gets a private meeting with JR those kinds of signs aren't media hype.

Throw in that at a time just recently when our clear greatest need was safety, our top pick was a middle linebacker (the BPA).

Didnt say private workout. Newton was the first private meeting JR had with a prospect. JR hasn't had a private meeting with anyone else yet. Things can change between now and draft time, but this is the way it looks atm.
