lol WTF? I'm sick of this. This is between the owners and the players. You don't see me, a customer, going to Sony for example complaining about how they split their money. It's none of my business. Why is this any different because it's the NFL? Maybe if the season's really locked out, then they MIGHT be a reason for you to get angry as a season ticket holder. Until then, fans should really stop complaining about 'millionaires and billionaires arguing who gets more money'. It's not your fight, stop being so jealous.

What, as a season ticket holder? As I said, if there isn't going to be a season, fine. I seriously doubt that though. Apart from that, how is it really an investment? If you want to stretch the analogy, even when you invest in stocks etc. you do so at your own risk. Either way, it's nothing personal. I don't understand why fans act like it is. As I said, the deal is between the owners and the players, it's all business. Why should a fan feel so emotionally attached to the purely business side of things?

I'm not saying he will win the case, but a judge could see it in his favor because they are intentionally doing this and they could see his PSL as an investment more than just season tickets.

Not sure how that whole arrangement is worked out though.

A PSL is purchased at a fair market price and then the holder is allowed to purchase season tickets, but not without a PSL seat license. PSL owners financed BofA Stadium for $243 million dollars and there would be no stadium if it were not for the PSL owners. If Richardson does anything to damage the PSL price, then he may be liable. A PSL is considered an investment.

I would think "intentionally damage the license price" would have to be apart of it and locking out players would do that.

If PSL owners do not have football to watch on the very first game day, then they will all have a lawsuit. I don't know what damages over the cost of the seat they will receive, but I'm going to assume they will get more than the seat cost.

If the lockout damages the value of the PSL seat, then I'm betting they would be entitled to that cost too.

The PSL contract gives you the right to purchase tickets (for your seats) for any "scheduled Panther Games". Given the fact that the lockout would cancel the games, and the team would be refudning all monies for the tickets....you would have zero case.

There is nothing in the contract that guarantees any type of secondary market value. A losing season could increase or decrease its value...the economy could increase or decrease its value...a lockout would decrease its value.

You could sue....but you would lose.

The decision to lockout the players is withing the rights of the ownership of the team. It is being done for the long-term strength of the team....which in turn would increase the long-term value of your PSL.

You would not be able to sue for a short-term devaluation of your investment when the action taken by management is fully within their rights.

I am a PSL owner and am pissed about this as well. However, it does not change the legal standing that this action would fall under.

Some people think that 10,000 people doing this would send a message. However, the owners of the teams already know that fans are pissed about this. They are doing what they believe is in the best long-term interest of the teams and the league.

Yes we are potentially getting screwed. But, the PSL owners do NOT have a legal standing,
