Tomorrow

That would be my hope. then tell his agent to find him a team in the AFC that will pony up the picks we need. Hell maybe Buffalo at #11. They need the pass rush and now that Marshawn Lynch just got busted for a felony possession charge, they are REALLY going to need to upgrade that defense :D

Gross getting tagged is bad business. tag the guy you can get a return on. We tag gross then get a multi year deal done we are worse off as we still don't have a first round pick this year AND we let a guy walk that was a greater trade value.

They need to get off their collective asses and work out the deal for Gross. Whatever 'language' is the issue, fix it already! Tag peppers and lets get some picks for him.

I agree the team should just give the man what he wants if they want to keep him and get something for peppers.

It was my understanding there was some issue with the language of the contract that was offered before, not the money involved. Uh ok, fix the damn language, structure it how gross wants and lets move on.

    • Karlaftis and Danna have been pretty inconsistent so teams have been doubling Jones and able to contain their pass rush.   But the good thing is that yesterday, we schemed well against Steve Spags Defense, Canales married the surrounding personnel with his QB through play designs within his comfort zone and was able to get downfield at will.  He was able to execute higher difficulty throws and look a lot more comfortable.  It tells me that Canales has a good system in mind, and had an edge gameplanning wise against Spagnuolo - which is nice to see.  It's a bit to see-saw at times with either going way too pass heavy or way too run heavy, but I think he's finding out what works.  It takes time to have it come together, and sure, I could see regression happen against a better front-7, but this was good for the entire system gelling.
    • This was evident first two weeks of season. I don’t see any issues with physical tools since he came back. I think he is a player that must play with confidence to overcome those size limitations and he’s doing that.
    • Still 3-10 on passes over 15 yards.  At least he's not scared to merely attempt them anymore.  Where I see improvement is the 10-15 yard range.  He was 6-6.  Bryce of old was scatter shot on anything beyond 10 yards and the further out, the worse the accuracy.
