Wow I find it hard for you to be 25 because you act like my 5 year old!

rain sux. i hate when the race ends this way. personally i'd like to see them keep rain tires on hand for cases like this. they could still postpone if they want to, but if the race is already started, then just switch tires. this was the daytona 500. not the daytona 300+.

do some research on rain tires with stock cars.

there's a reason that they never use them.

This has been brought up in the past but there's simply no rain tire that can handle a stock car going at those speeds. The lone exception is at road courses.

BTW, not really dissing Kenseth, cptx. I just don't like it when the marquee race of the season can't go the full distance. They REALLY should move the green flag up about an hour or two.

there's also a reason that goodyear has engineers. to develop tires for different tracks and situations.

you don't think that they have had years to try?

it's physics, man.

adding grooves to the tire actually reduces the contact patch, resulting in less grip even on a bone dry track.

if motogp can do it on 2 wheels, then i see no reason it can't be done on 4. btw. i'm an engineer. there's a solution for everything. some solutions just require more time and money.

comparing a couple thousand pound car to a motorcycle??you cant exactly lean into the turn in a CoT..

    • Hope Koch recovers (he’s stated numerous times he doesn’t like to be called “koochie”) soon. But he does not instill confidence in the crease. I don’t have any confidence in any of our goalies, healthy or not. Andersen when available gives us the best chance to win but he’s never available.    Team has to explore trade options soon.
    • Respectfully, I completely disagree. Last year we were:  32nd in Sacks. 32nd in Turnovers.  32nd in Rushing TDs allowed  29th in Scoring.  We were absolutely atrocious on defense last year and that was with a full stable of weapons in Derek Brown, Frankie Luvu and Brian Burns that played all 17 games.  Using yards per game as a metric to guage our success lacks the context that because our offense was so inept teams were not driving the length of the field, they were starting at their 40-50 yard line.  This year, our Defense ranks:  31st in Sacks. Tied for 19th in Turnovers  31st in Rushing TDs allowed 32nd in Scoring  His defense fails to get pressure, fails to turn the ball over and fails to stop the run. Three things you absolutely have to do to be successful in the NFL.  Denver meanwhile has not missed a beat without him.  If another team wants to hire him as a HC and the Panthers get two 3rds for it I'll wish him the best and pack his bags myself.
