#1 where are you getting that information about # of games watched by "guys on the NFL network" :lol: And stop listening to "guys on the NFL network"

#2 how do you know that the last 6 games isn't the best representations to skew the data? You even said earlier that the beginning of the season wasn't accurate because of blah blah blah so it just so happens they are in succession when really it's only because they wanted to prove their point.

If they had any credibility, they should have done an analysis of his whole season and compared it then if they wanted to use 6 games, do that as well but offer analysis on why the change, whether good or bad.

I'm sorry it's just sad that you hung on to one tiny stat and are basing your whole argument around it when that one stat is rooted in opinion and subjectivity.

6 games is a large sample size to make statistical references.

BTW when people say that "you can make stats say whatever you want" usually mean they lost so they have to say something like that to make themselves feel better. Certain stats can be twisted these were facts

What I was talking about with the "experts and professionals" was my analysis of his game, not really his draft stock. The strengths and weaknesses of his actual ability. Things I called weaknesses were later realized by the likes of Mayock, Kiper, McShay, Brooks, etc.

The fact that you need to rely on some manipulated statistic to avoid Cam being labeled something that he is shows a lot about you.

In my case it wasn't passing yardage or rushing yardage type stats. That isn't what I base my opinions on. These are stats from games that are tangible and not manipulative.

The way I try to avoid from doing or saying something stupid, is to say it out loud to myself a few times. If it sounds worse each time, I often try to leave it alone.

It doesnt matter. His stats are good his first six too. Some are just in denial, to them it just can't be. I think the trd and a lot of these people really like Cam Newton. I bet if we draft and he he plays good they'll be hating. :eek:yes hating if you can watch tape of Cam Newton and tell me he can't throw that is hating.
