I met my fiance on there. It works, but you have to be patient and you'll probably go on numerous dud dates before you meet someone you develop a relationship with. Be totally honest with your info and put a lot of pictures up, including the bad ones. That way you'll know if they're genuinely interested.

I have an extremely shitty internet connection at work. Large pages don't agree with it. And I'm too lazy to change the setting back and forth.

I have "heard" that you can defeat work filters and peruse the LL forum if you set your page setting to 10. You cannot see the first page but the rest will pass through.

I heard it works where I am and we have some of the strongest filters available.

From personal experience, I've only went out with one person from Match and it was a disaster. So for me, it was a waste of money.
