I think its down to MD, Newton, and pp7. Its looking more and more like Newton will be the pick but as they say maybe its all a "Smokescreen".

Back to the original topic, the FO is willing to fly in to see Green rather than have him visit, but they're not willing to fly in on Gabbert's pro day? Given all the attention Newton's getting, I gotta think that Gabbert's more of an after thought. 'Due dilligence' as they say.

I don't know about that - they met with Gabbert a couple days later and have provided him a play book. They may have felt because of the proximity of the private workout to his pro day they wouldn't bother.

Gabbert is also scheduled to meet with the Panthers at a later date IN Charlotte, so I'm not convinced that he is out of the running.
