Im in this year, just tell me what to do?
You pick eight drivers from the starting lineup for each race. The twist is that you pick the ones that will finish in the back.

Winner is determined by the sum of all the NASCAR drivers points those drivers get.

You killed the game by starting the thread on Saturday night!

Whatever, it's not like we can't start the season next week and use Daytona as a "practice session".

Well I figured with daytona being a crap shoot anyways, we would start it next week

Since we lost the Low Ball spreadsheet, I'm not sure if using the old scoring system will work. That's a lot of work to do!

I know it sounds lazy, but maybe we can go by NASCAR's point system....

1st 185

2nd 170

3rd 165

4th 160

5th 155

...and so on

or F1's system.

  • 1st: 10
  • 2nd: 8
  • 3rd: 6
  • 4th: 5
  • 5th: 4
  • 6th: 3
  • 7th: 2
  • 8th: 1

Just throwing out ideas there. At the least, it doesn't really hurt to play during a restrictor plate race like in the past.

BTW, here's the general format for each week...

1. ______________

2. ______________

3. ______________

4. ______________

5. ______________

6. ______________

7. ______________

8. ______________

Tie Breaker Points: ###

To anyone that doesn't know, the tie breaker is a guess of what your final score will be. It is used in case two players has the same score. Whoever's actual score is closer to their tiebreaker score wins the tiebreaker.

Then again, I'm not really sure if it made any sense in the past.

Okay, I'll put up a line up for tomorrow's race. Just for fun! :D

1. Terry Labonte

2. Michael Waltrip

3. Regan Smith

4. Marcos Ambrose

5. Bobby Labonte

6. Bill Elliott

7. Scott Riggs

8. Scott Speed

Tie Breaker Points: 612

    • I have no idea what is going to happen.  Walker scares me--although he is not the most overrated player in the draft, I do not see him at his size as an every down edge either.  Mykel?  I need to more about his role at UGA, but I am starting to like him over Walker--if I had to choose.   Emmanwori (S) might just help the team more than any defender on the board.  I think Morgan's comments about WR were either scary or just a smokescreen: I think we do feel good about our receiver room. We're looking forward to seeing them compete and just get better and better. That's not to say that we're not gonna invest in a receiver at some point during the draft. So we're just gonna draft really good football players and if it's a wideout, then so be it.                                                   ---Dan Morgan, GM 2024--??   First of all, there are teams with 2 WRs better than our best.  How can they compete if they have no competition?  I dunno.     What is the plan at S?  They only met with Emmanwori.  I think they are going with 2 hybrid safeties, and his function here is more important than his value to the league. They talked to Blackmon and he did not sign.  They have 2 depth players-and nothing else.  Do not be surprised if Emmanwori is the pick.   TMac, Golden or Emmanwori would not shock me.
    • I stand for the flag and kneel for the cross 16 wins from immortality let's get it lads
    • We will draft Walker over Mykel if he’s there
