Also home made concoctions based on garlic, citrus or pepper sometimes work.

LOL had the same problem with a stray dog, he was a small dog, but kept trying to attack me. So I bought some dog pepper spray and sprayed that mut. He spent 10 minutes in my neighbor's lawn rubbing his eyes in the grass, never saw him again.

if you can approach the cat, make a mix of 50/50 vinegar and water in a spray bottle... hit him up with that a couple times and he won't be back...

else, you can go the have-a-heart route... catch and release...

else, get a cat-apult...
