If the Bengals aren't going to retain Joseph, they may be more willing to trade up to the #1 spot to pick Peterson, Green, or a QB of their choosing. They give us Palmer and an extra pick and we pick Newton at #4 and also sign Joseph before or after the draft. If not Joseph, then sign Florence. Let the QBs battle it out during the offseason for the #1 spot.

That's like 5 top free agents...you honestly think we are going to sign 5 of the top free agents at their positions this offseason (whenever it starts). I understand it's a "wish list" but there is a better chance of Luck playing for us and Stanford than this roster actually happening. I would be happy with one of these guys let alone 5.

From what I've read the Pats most likely arent going to sign Mankins to a long term deal. The Bengals did tender Joseph but if a new CBA is reached, he could be a unrestricted FA. The Bengals have made him a top priority though and Im not sure if we want to give up that much for him, so Florence may be the most realistic. Plus Florence and Rivera were both in San Diego together for 1 year in 2007.
