Practice anyway?

According to their conversation via twitter Clausen and AE will practice with eachother when Jimmy comes back from Cali in a couple weeks.

I'm always pleased to see guys taking the initiative to get better for one, in the offseason and two, now in the face of a lockout.

Props to both for making the effort, perhaps others will join.

I think the panthers player with the biggest backyard should host private practices and email the panthers orginization under a fake name and say i would love to have a copy of your playbook with like hidden messages in it and stuff .. would never happen .. but id laugh

Hold up... is AE going to throw to Jimmy now?

I mean, we know pickles can run. He kinda has a receiver's build...

Maybe that's the plan behind all the smokescreens!!!! AE to start at QB. Clausen is replacing Smitty in the lineup!

Just remember you read it on the Huddle from BCG first!

I think that would be Beason's house or Smith's.

Sources close to BCG are telling me that the Panthers are cutting Steve Smith to make room for Jimmy Clausen to move to WR to make room for Armanti Edwards moving to QB. Also these same sources are telling us that Ron Rivera will be stepping down as head coach to accept the Offensive Consultant position vacated by Ricky Proehl as he will be taking the Head Coaching vacancy. That is why Proehl was at Yo Gabba Gabba's pro day and not Rivera.

    • That's a no from me. Penn St coaches built the entire offense around him and he still disappeared at times. I just don't see the value for a top ten pick.
    • I don't want the Steelers trade because they don't have a 2nd this year. Unless they sent us TJ Watt and their 1st, and we end up trading back up to get Tyler Warren.... Obviously not going to happen but that's the only way.
    • The blue chip group in this draft is more like 3-5 players. Trading down below 15 is perfectly acceptable to me to add 2nd and 3rd round picks this year. The perception is the blue chip poop is small but the solid starter and contributor pool is very, very deep in several positions. If you get 3-5 top 90 picks, especially on a dumpster fire roster like ours, we should EXPECT 100% of them to be in the two deep and at LEAST 2-3 starters, as well. That is why I am okay trading down even into the 20's if the price makes sense.
