As far as I am concerned I like the way that sounds. If it good enough for Arizona at five I would be happy with Gabbert or Newton at number 1. They would be exactly what we need. Can't argue with Dareus either, though. He would be a great pick just not the game changer that a Qb would be.

Since smokescreens are the order of the day, i think all the QB talk is just that, talk.

I also think Denver is dying to get Dareus. i also think Buffalo who just dumped Stroud would like Dareus.

Buffalo could be a great trade partner for us. Move down and pick up a third.

At three, we could get Peterson, Green, Gabbert or trade down another couple spots with AZ to let them pick a QB ahead of Cincy.

Why the heck would we pick Dareus over PP and Newton and Gabba Gabba?.....and Fairley for that matter?

All those guys are way better than Dareus imo or at least I think they would make a bigger impact in year 1.

:confused: Dareus looks like he can be an instant impact player. Why do you think he will need adjustment time more than other rookies and more than spread quarterbacks for that matter?

I'll tell you what happened, Dareus will give us more bang for the buck

then either Gabbert or Newton. Dareus is good to go right out of the box.

He would give us instant cred, I am sick of losing and we need to turn

I couldn't agree more. You have to take a shot at a franchise QB while you have the chance.
