ummm Jenkins did not fulfill his contract and started the almost bad mouthing the Panthers to get out of Carolina, Peppers fulfilled his contract and has not said one bad thing about Carolina.

I think people had a right throwing Jenkins under the bus, because the only thing they have in common is they both wanted something new.....just went completely opposite ways in doing it.

exactly.

The man fulfilled his contract. Meaning, HE DIDN"T BAIL ON THE TEAM..

FFS, why is that so hard to comprehend?

Pep wants to go somewhere else now. So let him. He's not bailing on anyone.

people get their feelings hurt way too easy when it comes to professional sports. There are a lot of people on here that considered Peppers to be their favorite player or one of them. Peppers is by far my favorite player in all of the NFL, but I also have accepted the NFL as a business and not my personal entertainment. Scrum once told me he did not understand why us as fans get so caught up into something we cannot control.....I have to agree with him here.

You know, I wasn't going to jump on his case or be overemotional about this, and I wasn't the first few weeks after the announcement, but these comments just kinda piss me off.

Good bye and good riddence. We get it Julius... you're bored here and want a change of scenery. But don't expect any fan of the team to be happy about your wanting to leave. That's just imbecilic to believe that we, the fans... short for fanatics, should not BE emotional. Duh.. moron.

Can't wait until this is all over with. I'll still sport my Peppers jersey, cause it's a Panthers jersey first and foremost, but I won't have to like who's name is on it.

Not necessarily. I think he tanked it in 2007 in an effort to try to get the Panthers to trade him. He put out more effort this year to raise his FA stock. Whatever the case...good riddance to an underachiever (except that we need to pick up a pass rusher between now and game 1 )
