They can feel how ever they like until Zod tells them not to. Grow up. It's the Internet, you get all kinds on here.

I don't think I need to grow up for anything, I said it amuses me. If you guys want to continue to whine about it, have fun, but it amuses me nonetheless...

Maybe it's because Peppers knows his name will eventually show up on the client list of the high roller prostitution ring that got busted here.

He was offered a poo load of cash, the D coordinateds have changed, yet he still doesn't want to be in Charlotte.

Maybe he wants out of Char. before his name hits the papers as a client of the high dollar hore house that got busted.

Just saying.

Would explain a lot.

Well, people can finally put the "it's Fox" thing to rest. He said "it's not Fox". He said "it's not the scheme".

Except that he did say he would rather play in a scheme (like a 3-4) where he feels like he could maximize his potential...so its "not the scheme" seems to be a contradiction on his part. And he's not going to trash Fox in an interview...that wouldn't be too smart.

Anyone who hopes they tag him and trade him to a sh*ttastic team, keep in mind the fact that will almost 100% not happen. If he is tagged, and they want to trade him the smartest thing for the FO to have done prior to tagging him for that purpose is to feel out the potential trade market for him. The agent & player would have to be amenable to the trade and agree to a new contract with the new team. I've never heard of a situation where a player is tagged and traded and played that first year at the FT number . It always involves a new contract, and since it does, it means the player and agent have to be amenable to such. Unless they are ONLY about the benjamins they won't agree to go to a poorly run franchise like Cleveland.

The other thing is that since Pep has completed 7 years of playing, he won't suffer a loss of FA years accrued if he simply sits out the year without playing (or getting paid of course)while under the FT. If he really feels that strongly about not playing for the Cats ever again and it really isn't about the $$, we will see it from his actions.

Pep holds all the cards here. We made a mistake, by having two of our top 5 players on the team both need extensions at the same time.

Both he and Gross are in the catbirds seat.

No team will give us anything for pep, unless he agrees to a new contract, and he has to agree.

We messed up, and both he and Gross know it.

If you believe that Peppers is willing to sit out a year at his age, sans pay to trump us, then you are correct. But Peppers' agent is not that stupid, notice I didn't say Peppers himself, but his agent...

I don't think he holds nearly as many cards as you guys do...

Good theory but that would have not stopped him from signing a contract last year when they put it on the table in good faith that he would come back and have a good year.

Why I can understand there anger. Its not about the money its about bailing out on your teammates. Alot of people have took up for Peppers threw out his time here and defended him because of lack of production and what looked to be taking off plays. Really this just makes all the nay sayers right in the fact that pep was not a team player and did just care about himself.

It would explain a lot Skew, you might have hit the nail on the head. And prostitution could also explain the mysterious "illness" of 2007. It's all coming together now....

tired off hearing these dumb insults on pep......can't wait to see what it boils down to

What do you expect. He has basically given everyone the finger and said peace im out of here. This whole circus has been the brain child of peps agent and pep so the back lash is all his fault. Funny though people threw jenk under the bus for the same crap but people think its wrong to do it to pep.

ummm Jenkins did not fulfill his contract and started the almost bad mouthing the Panthers to get out of Carolina, Peppers fulfilled his contract and has not said one bad thing about Carolina.

I think people had a right throwing Jenkins under the bus, because the only thing they have in common is they both wanted something new.....just went completely opposite ways in doing it.
