How'd you pick it? Before or after they were born?

before. I didnt want some crazy muslim name and my wifes grandmothers name was pretty good. Thus the name Jena was born.

My wife had picked it as one of the "finalists" and at some point we just knew it was the right one.

I have faith that these things sort themselves out for the most part. Have a list going and one will jump out at you when the time is right.

My daughters mom picked the name. She hated the names i picked out, said they all sounded like stripper names lol.

Brittney Nicole.

BTW my daughter hates her name, says every other girl in school was named "Brittney" or "Nicole".

I did the smart thing and let my wife pick it out...

lol, but yeah, she picked several and we narrowed it down... He was almost Jarrod Lee Jones, but we changed it the last couple months to Camden Lee Jones... which I will end up calling him Cam as he gets older... Cam Jones sounds like an awesome QB, or a recording artist...

Wifey and I have ours picked out. We made the list on one of blank pages of the book we bought. It was about 30 long, and I just started saying them together and with the surname. Picked Makenzie Tatum.

I have a friend who had a list, but didn't decide until they saw the kid.

We agreed to Lucas Maximus on the way to the beach. We knew we wanted to call him Luke and that his first name would be Lucas. At the time I knew of 0 Lukes but it has become an extremely popular name lately.

I suggested Maximus initially as a joke, but I liked it and so did my husband so we went with it. I like that he has a strong name.
