Gil Brandt on Gabbert's pro day, not so sure Newton should go # 1 overall anymore...

you guys we're all missing the biggest point through all of this:

Fuck Andrew Luck for staying at stanford.

Get over Andrew luck ALREADY! it was his decision, and he'll have to live life with his wallet 40 million dollars lighter.

F*ck Gil Brandt's undecided ass.

Wishy washy mf'er.

I just don't trust Gabbert, Cam's limited time as a starter was wildly successful while Gabbert's was not very impressive. I also wonder again, who plays better on the field, and so far Cam looks to be that guy.

Then again, if Gabbert is getting comparisons to Drew Brees from this workout, I can't say I'd be mad if we take him... I just hope and pray whoever it is, the guy doesn't suck. I can't take another year of Jimmy or a Jimmy clone.

there is a decent chance he is gone by 6 or 7...

Buffalo showing interest in both him and Newton. No idea who they prefer. Arizona showing a lot of interest in Gabbert (probably Newton too, dunno). and if we trade down, it's very likely it is with a team that wants a QB. None of this is even taking into account Cincy may go into scramble mode to draft a QB once Palmer doesn't back down.

If we do not want him (or Newton) #1, we have to come to terms with the fact we probably won't get them at all. Which is fine with me. :P

I'm telling you, the more and more we get into these pro days and workouts and the amount of shifting going on for no apparent reason by usually consistent individuals, there is no doubt in my mind that some scouts, media, analysts, and agents are exchanging some cash somewhere.

"Personally, I don’t think you could go wrong with either one of the quarterbacks. As Bucky Brooks explained in his War Room Debate comparing the two, it’s going to come down to the scheme each QB-needy team runs and which quarterback is the better fit."

Yeah, funny how that part was left off.
