St. Patty's Day Thread

So last night I see my 6 year old daughter palce a tupperware container on it's side near our front door and in it she placed a bunch of change and a lock of her hair (that she cut herself!). In front of the container is a long "runway" of sorts made out of tinfoil. So I can't help but to ask what the creation is.....she tells me it is a leprechaun trap.

So now I am going to rent a midget and have him climb into it so when she comes home she will think she caught one. I just hope she doesn't ask to keep it.

That is all.....you may now continue with your bewbie talk.

thats the funniest thing I've seen in a long time!!!! Good luck with getting a midget!!!!

I asked if she was actually expecting to find a leprechaun in there. She said that while she is in school today and I am at work a leprechaun will sneak into the house and get stuck in her trap. Then, the only way he will be able to get out is if he leaves presents in the container for her. Well guess who went to Party City today to get St. Patty's day coins, rings, pencils, candy, etc........pretty sure I just got duped by a 6 year old into adding one more holiday to buy presents for.

We used to do that when I was in kindergarten. You leave stuff for him and then he leaves you presents and puts green glitter everywhere

no, he's not a gay leprechaun

WTF? Never heard of that. Is he Santachaun or something and are you telling me I have to stop and get some green glitter now?

I threw the corned beef brisket in the crotchpot this am. Bought the soda bread yesterday.

Will boil up some taters, carrots and cabbage when I get home.

Will drink a Guinness this eve methinks too.

I'm German, Lithuanian, Swedish and English.

But what the heck, the kids enjoy it! Boiled food....yum. :(
