I'll say that this is accurate. Beason is the leader of this team now, Smitty's just been aroun for longer and gets more media attention.

Among the casual fan and probably he rest of the country I'd put Smitty first then, D-Lo ahead of Beason... If you'd ask someone on the street to name their favorite Panther I'd almost bet money that Williams or Smith would come out of their mouth

Everyone outside thinks that the Panthers have no leadership/talent what so ever...

Buuuuut for the ones that do their homework they see that Beason is the Panthers face of the franchise, I was talking with my gf's family who are all Ravens fans and the buzz in Baltimore for the 2012 fa season is they want Beason to replace Ray Lewis. Good Luck with that.
