So I got the call back today. Pretty standard stuff, though I tried to pick up on any small things that might give me some idea of what direction we're going. He obviously wasn't going to tell me who they were looking at, but we did talk about how important the QB position was and how it was a priority.

I just made a post about the comparison between Newton & Roethlisberger and one of the reasons is that in the 5 minutes we talked he probably compared the two at least 4-5 times, though obviously didn't give any real indication either way. He did acknowledge that they were "disappointed" by Andrew Luck's decision.

One thing he did stress was that they really like the staff they've put together and trust that they're capable of helping to develop a franchise QB for us. Without saying so, I got the sense he was basically saying this wasn't the case with Fox's staff and that they consider the new staff part of the fix as much as any player(s) they're going to bring in. But that's just what I got from it.

Perhaps this title should be turned into "All Signs (or at least articles put out by the Observer) Point to Newton as Panther's #1", because it's hard to really say all signs are pointing in that direction right now.

Since you come to his defense, I take it you are also once of these aryan nation- .com chapter. I would love to meet someone brave enough to say dumb s h it like you say online.
