Just got it...took my first call. Sound was very good.

Have been holding on to my landline...did not want to give up the # and just have a cell. But, did not use that much. Most calls were incoming.

Got a cheap plan with more features. Number transfer was quick. AT&T upgraded my DSL to high speed UVerse for same as previous DSL.

I've wondered about that. I have two lines in the house and 3 cell phone lines. Now that I'm semi retired I've thought about dropping one line and trying to scale down to local. Keep me posted on how it works and I may do the switch myself.
