Desperation at its finest. His mind and Stumpys minds are not on winning. They are too distracted and caught up in things that dont work. See how easy they speak of "failing" and the aftermath of that. Their minds are solely wrapped around losing.

I can see how you came to that conclusion based on RoF's post, but why are you convinced that my mind is "not on winning" but is "solely wrapped around losing?"

My post had nothing to do with football and everything to do with you promoting a company that bankrolls child abuse, slavery, terrorism and genocide.

It seems you are simply trying to deflect legitimate criticisms by throwing around wild and baseless claims about those who criticize you or the people/organizations you support.

Ive seen many of your posts prior to your posts in here. Many have. You are very anti-Newton and one of the ones who have been adamant against us drafting him. You were also one of the ones shouting loudly that we would never draft him. My question to you is, why do you take Cam Newton's success and rise as a slight on other QBs or yourself for that matter. Why do you take it so personal if Panther fans would like for him to be our QB? If Cam does become a Panther and is successful, it makes Peyton Manning no less a QB. It makes Tom Brady no less a QB. Matt Moore, Jimmy Clausen, etc. And Stumpy, it doesnt make you less of a person or sportsfan. You can be somebody too.

While you are correct that I am against drafting Newton, I am certainly not anti-Newton. I have absolutely nothing against the man, and by all accounts he is a very respectable young man. I wish him well in his NFL career, I just hope that career is not with the Panthers.

As to why I do not want to draft Cam; unlike you, my entire world view does not revolve around race. I don't want us to draft Newton for the same reason I didn't want us to draft The Golden Calf of Bristol last year. What did 2010 The Golden Calf of Bristol have in common with 2011 Newton, you may ask? (HINT: It wasn't race) They were/are both raw, unpolished running QBs.

I don't like running QBs. They are statistically more turnover and injury prone than pocket passers. Maybe I am naive, but I believe that the easiest way to win is to having a QB who can hold on to the ball and stay on the field. Yes there have been some successful running QBs, but they have all been extremely polished passers. (Elway, Tarkenton, S. Young, McNabb)

You were also one of the ones shouting loudly that we would never draft him.

I would never doubt the stupidity of Hurney after the AE fiasco.

My question to you is why do you take it so personal when myself and others suggest that Cam Newton may not be a good NFL QB? Does his success determine your own self worth simply because you both happen to be of the same race? It's not like he would be the first successful black QB, there have been many before him, and there will be many after him. Why do you take my view that he will not be successful as a personal attack on you and your family?

KT why are you so offended by this post anyways?

In addition to the hypocrisy of your sig that SouthCak pointed out, I would also like to add that your avatar is quite racist as well.

1) The figs in fig newtons come mainly for Morocco and Western Sahara. There has been an ongoing conflict between the racially Arab Moroccans and the native Sahrawi. This conflict has included many accusations of human rights violations by the Moroccans, including torture, collective punishment and forced disappearances among Sahrawi civilians. Virtually all of the farms in WS are owned by Moroccans or the Moroccan government. On top of all this, you have the widespread atrocities in the farm systems of many western African nations including child labor, indentured servitude and slavery. Fig Newtons support child labor, race wars and even slavery in western Africa.

2) Fig Newtons are notoriously high in simple sugars and saturated fats; two of the major contributing factors in diabetes. Diabetes is one of the number one killers of black men in America.

3) It is widely held racial stereotype that African Americans like purple flavored food/drink.

Way to support racial stigmas, torture, slavery and death among the African race all over the world.

Is it because I took something that you said/posted/uploaded and used anecdotal evidence, shaky facts and flawed logic in an attempt to turn it around on you and make you sound like a bad person?

Sorry, I didn't mean to steal your MO.

 for semantics - too bad RoF didn't do a better job of hiding what he truly meant.

if we draft newton, ill support himno matter how many laptops he steals

until then, im offering my 2 cents about him, and i think its stupid to take a developmental guy if theres no guarantee if theres a season this fall

Drafting Cam will be the smartest thing this franchise has done in quite some time. Maybe ever. I've never seen a player with so much raw talent and potential be so despised among fans (of all teams, not just the Panthers) and called a bust before the fact more, despite having all the talent in the world.

It almost reminds me of when the Eagles fans booed Donovan McNabb off stage in '99 or when everyone was warning the Chargers that Ladainian Tomlinson had "bust written all over him" in 2001. And anyone who wants to take away from his talent because of the pay-for-play thing first should ask themselves if they would've taken the money themselves.

I sure as hell know I would've taken the money and ran like hell to Auburn too. I'm not going to hold something against Cam Newton - or anyone else - that I would've done myself. Not to mention the fact that easily half the NCAA probably gets paid just the same.

Take a look at what happened recently at Ohio State; Reggie Bush at USC, and countless other examples of this. It's part of the college game; it always has been and always will be. Cam is just such a high profile example of it that the media can't let it go. I'd be willing to bet half the Panthers current roster was in some way paid, bribed, or otherwise while in college or while being recruited. It's just the reality of the situation.
