The Panthers will think long and hard about adding talent to their defensive line, but the need for a franchise quarterback is a must in a division with Matt Ryan, Josh Freeman and Drew Brees. Although Newton is a bit of a project based on his inexperience, his boundless potential makes him worth the risk.
